Danielle’s practice includes counseling and defending employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including workers’ compensation.
Danielle actively counsels her clients in the areas of personnel policies, hiring, training, employee handbooks, discipline, disability accommodations, termination, protected leave, sexual harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wage and hour, employee complaints and internal investigations, as well as regulatory compliance. She spends a significant amount of time counseling clients regarding day to day employment issues and assisting them to find practical solutions to their legal problems in a proactive manner.
Danielle also consults with clients regarding workers’ compensation cost management to mitigate financial windfalls. She works together with her clients to create an efficient cost-effective workers’ compensation plan through integration of systems (i.e., human resource, insurance company, examiners, workers’ compensation counsel, finance department, safety, and risk management) and audits of claims handlers’ activities to prevent future financial windfalls. Danielle has successfully mitigated over hundreds of thousands of dollars in workers’ compensation costs for an individual client.
Danielle focuses on finding creative, practical, cost-effective solutions to address her clients’ needs and goals when dealing with these issues. She prides herself in serving as a trusted adviser and strategic partner for her clients.
