Taylor Ealand represents employers and employees in labor and employment matters throughout California, with a practice that includes both defense and select plaintiff-side representation. His dual perspective allows him to bring practical, balanced insight to litigation and counseling engagements. Taylor has represented clients ranging from local, family-owned businesses to Fortune 50 companies.
Prior to joining Hatmaker Law, Taylor practiced at a prestigious international law firm, where he gained extensive experience handling all stages of complex wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and individual employment claims involving discrimination, workplace safety, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. He represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, mediation, proceedings before the Labor Commissioner, the EEOC, and other state and federal administrative agencies.
In addition to litigation, Taylor advises employers on day-to-day operations, compliance, and risk management, helping clients navigate California’s evolving employment laws with confidence.
Taylor earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, where he served as Vice President and a founding member of the Venture Capital and Private Equity Club. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Computer Science from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego and is admitted to practice in California.
A Fresno native, Taylor remains deeply committed to the local community and the people who drive it. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
